Post 64 won 24 games and lost 14 finishing in 2nd place in the ESD regular season behind Queen Anne/Kent County.   However, in the post season playoffs, Post 64 defeated Cecil County in two straight games and then defeated Queen Anne in two straight games to win the ESD Championship and advance to the MD State Tournament. In the State Tournament, Post 64 won its opening game 8 to 0 over Southern Maryland champion La Plata.   Then, Post 64 lost a heart-breaker 11 to 10 in the tenth inning to eventual State Champions Mt Airy after leading the entire game until the bottom of the ninth when Mt Airy tied the game at 9 to 9.  Ironically, Post 64 was leading Mt Airy 10 to 5 the night before after 8 complete innings when a thunderstorm stopped play and the game was continued at 9AM the next morning.    Post 64 took the lead back 10 to 9 in the top half of the 9th inning only to have Mt Airy tie the game in the bottom of the 9th inning on a Post 64 error which ultimately led to a 11 to 10 loss in the bottom half of the 10th inning when the game was resumed the next morning.   Pitcher/outfielder Tony Butler led the team in batting with 33 hits and a .485 average.    He also won 4 games and lost 1 with a 2.09 ERA.  Daniel Trivits won 5 games and lost 5 with a 1.65 ERA.   Catcher Chris Bozman had the most hits wiith 33, 2nd in RBI's with 28 and hit 3 homeruns in one game during the regular season.
